Bold and confident, our Navy Strength Gin derives its name not only from its elevated alcohol content and intensified flavors but also from its historical roots dating back to the 18th century. In the British Navy, gin was stored aboard ships alongside gunpowder. Should the gin barrels rupture and mix with the gunpowder, the higher alcohol content would prevent spoilage, ensuring the gunpowder remained effective for ignition.

In our quest for excellence akin to a global expedition, we scoured the corners of the earth for the finest botanicals for our 'Navy Strength' gin, sourcing ingredients from Switzerland, Spain, Costa Rica, and Australia.

Embark on a flavourful journey with our gin

Embark on a flavourful journey with our gin, featuring illustrious notes of pink pepper, juniper, lemon peel, chamomile, finger limes, ginger, and cassia bark.

Inspired by the global spice trade of the 1600s, which boasted a diverse array of international botanicals, our Navy Strength Gin promises an exceptional experience. Bottled at 57% ABV, each bottle contains less water and more gin, heightening its already robust flavours.

The first whiff captivates with a diverse medley of spices—mustard seed, pink and black peppercorns—accompanied by a delightful ginger heat. Bright lemon and salty olives, along with tart finger limes, further elevate the gin, delivering a depth and long-lasting mouthfeel that begins with a powerful spiciness and transitions into a pleasant sweetness. It serves as the ultimate choice to kickstart a Negroni or complements beautifully in a Gimlet.

FAQ

An argument that goes back centuries. Essentially, back in the day Scotts produced Whisky & Irish produced Whiskey.

The names travelled with global migration and hence the Irish took Whiskey to America and the Scotts took Whisky to Australia etc.

As is the way of the world the spelling is now enshrined in legal mythology.
