Big flavours, bold and confident, a Navy Strength Gin gets its namesake from not only the increased alcohol content & increased flavour, but also dates back to the 18th Century. In the British Navy, Gin was stored on ships next to the gunpowder. Should the gin barrels split and get into the gunpowder, then this higher alcohol content would ensure that the gunpowder was not spoiled, and would still ignite when used!
Like any good global expedition, we found the finest botanicals from around the world for our ‘Navy Strength’ including Switzerland, Spain, Costa Rica & Australia.
This gin takes you on a journey with illustrious notes of pink pepper, juniper, lemon peel, chamomile, finger limes, ginger and cassia bark.
